 Friday, April 10th, 2009 Last month I had the chance to head out to Vancouver and spend some time with Alexisonfire while they were recording their new album. I definitely have fun stories as always but I will save that for another post when I can share more images. I can say that I've learned that you need a pretty good sense of humour and thick skin to hang out with 8 boys for a good length of time. Monday, April 6th, 2009 I know, I know...but tonights the night. ;) Saturday, April 4th, 2009 Carlie and I went to High School together in Vancouver and as far as I can remember, she was always sewing. I remember collaborating with her on a photoshoot in Grade 11 and I am sure we can both say with confidence that we have greatly improved our craft since then. I love having proud momma moments (which I often do with so many of my talented friends) and I definitely had one watching Carlie show once again at LG Fashion Week here in Toronto, with her Fall 09 collection. The house was packed to see her beautiful designs and the media could not get enough of this talented girl. I was so happy to hook up with her 7 years later to see how far she has come. Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 Hello Friends - I just got back from a lovely weekend in Vancouver to take part in some Juno festivities and had such a great time. I got into town on Friday and went from the airport straight to meet up with my lovely friend and designer extraordinaire Carlie Wong and Juno nominee Ivana Santilli, who Carlie was dressing for the event. Ivana is so stunning and looked amazing in everything Carlie brought so it was a hard decision but whatever she didn't wear to the Junos will be making an appearance in her new video which I will be on set for. Thanks to Carlie for having me out and Ivana for letting us come and document the fitting. She had just come from the gym, looked absolutely beautiful and was happy to have my camera right in her face.
