They will hold this pose until I take the shot and only then, can we carry on with the rest of the shoot. Friday, May 1st, 2009 Last month I had the chance to work on the Shopping Annual for Toronto Life Magazine, photographing five local vendors who are the best of the best in the city. I have to just point out the Neil and Victoria from Greenshag were the most amazing and lovely people with the greatest boutique. The even gave my boyfriend a beautiful bowtie to wear to his opening - total sweethearts. Also, the great folks at StyleGarage are wonderful. I am saving up my pennies to hopefully but something from there one day. The have gorgeous furniture and the most adorable store dog, Rougie. All the vendors were fantastic - Corbo is a girls dream come true, Summerhill Nursery made me wish I had a garden and Howard Barr was such a darling, with a cute accent to boot! Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 On my recent shoot with Kate Rogers she wanted to have a whippet in order to match the cover of her latest and greatest album Beauregard, so we borrowed one... This is Benny. He ran away from us within the first 10 minutes of us having him, really likes cheese, is needy beyond control and has the worst breath in the entire world but despite all these things is still pretty lovable.  Here is a clip of Kate on Q TV (one of my fav programs!) I love this lady and I love the sound of Jian's voice. Sunday, April 26th, 2009 I feel like a giddy school girl - so first things first. I have been slacking a bit on the blog front due to the fact that I took this semester to finish off my degree at Ryerson University. I choose to take the long route but I am now officially a master of the universe, so that is now taken care of and I can get back to business. I have taken my actual website offline for the moment to get ready for some great changes. I am officially represented, as of yesterday and there is a lot happening already so I want to take the time to update the portfolio as I have really been hiding a lot over the last year. This Monday I am being flown out to Vancouver to work with the amazing Hannah Georgas. She is in studio recording her new album and we are going to be doing photos for her album artwork. I had a chance to do a half day with her while I was out for the Junos and have since renamed her Hannah Gorgeous.  Here is an example of how adorable Hannah is..
