Farrah Aviva and I use to have 'dumbed-down' math class together in Grade 10. Our teacher Mr. Pu did not speak English very well, so it made already complicated things just that much more complicated. I can't speak for Farrah, but the only reason I passed the class is because I got grounded a month before the midterm and the last day of class Mr. Pu said, "I give you pass, but you dont take Math again, ok?!" Needless to say, Farrah and I now have careers that prove we really didn't need to understand Geometry anyways. ;)

Farrah is a talented up and coming actress who recently stared in the documentary, 'The Original Promise' was a lead role in the movie 'Candyland' and is now hosting a show called 'So What Do You Think?' Big things happening for this little lady. You can follow her latest adventures HERE

In February, I had the chance to work on a Doritos commercial with my friends at CTV. I can honestly say that I don't think I have ever laughed so hard on the job. This was my wonderful senior theater group who were beyond entertaining and even though they are in costume, I feel like this is not too far off. Huge thanks to Nick, Ryan + Crew and Jess.

Congratulations to my friend Jules Power, who debuted her beautiful line at LG Fashion Week this past Monday. I shot the images for Jules' look book at the beginning of the year and it was so exciting to see everything come to life on the runway. This lady is going to go far.

This is the beautiful Chelsea Hobbs, who is the star of the hit ABC series "Make It or Break It" (or as my friend Randall likes to call it "Bendy, Bitchy, Babes") Chelsea and I shot this image on location in Vancouver for Mateo magazine, which is out now.

This is my insanely beautiful and talented cousin Chelsea, who is apparently a musical superstar. I say apparently as I feel like the last time we saw each other prior to this she was just a wee babe. Chels just released her first self titled album and we shot this photo for the cover when she was visiting Toronto last summer. I also want to point out that I often say most photoshoots are not as glamorous as they look and interesting measures are usually taken to make things happen. For this shot, I had Chelsea put her back to a wall which had a gross vent blowing out air from a laundry room drier. Her hair looks pretty though, doesn't it? :)

Dan, I am forever grateful to have met you, lucky to say more than once. Thank you for letting me into your studio, invading your space while you were recording and always giving me the "signal" when vocals were about to start.

I will not forget your laugh, the way you would stand in "rockstar" stance with your hands in your pockets and your free spirit. I think STW was trying to be diplomatic in their blog post but I believe your words were "Fuck the Click!" I think for all of us there, that moment solidified just how cool you were.

Thank you for the great conversations about life, music and sharing your beer that was as black as the night.

I picture you in the sky, recording new demos for all our friends up there.

Forever in our hearts. Thank you for sharing your gift and your life.
