Sunday, May 18th - Vancouver
Tomorrow morning I am off to Vancouver BC for a week. I should be shooting some City and Colour shows in Vancouver and Victoria on the 21st and 22nd so thats something to look forward to as far as updates go. I took this photo a few years ago when I was in Vancouver and I only recently opened it up and realized how much I liked it.

Friday, May 16th - Fucked Up
This past week has been pretty amazing for me as far as shooting concerts goes. On Tuesday I went to see Fucked up, Hard Skin, Brutal Knights, and Bad Skin and Wrongbar. The show was so much fun. If you havent heard of any of those bands then you should check them out.
Wednesday I did a photoshoot with my friends in Misery Signals for Ferret Records which I will post in the next few weeks. I also photographed the Misery Signals show with As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, and Evergreen Terrace which of course, I will be posting as soon as I can.

Sunday, May 11th
.8:01pm.. Cancer Bats
The new Cancer Bats album is in stores as of April 22nd. If you havent had the chance to pick it up yet then you are missing out on one damn fine album. On the 22nd the bats played a CD release show here in Toronto and as usual, I was there photographing it. Check out some of the photos below.

Tuesday, April 29th
.7:21pm.. Brownie Hawkeye
After yesterdays post with the polaroid, I really started thinking a lot about how much I love shooting with vintage cameras, so today I decided I would finally run some film through my old Brownie Hawkeye. I really wasnt expecting it to work since the only film I could get at the place across the street from my house was colour and I thought the camera would have too many light leaks to work properly. It ended up working really well and the photos look so amazing from it. Here is a scan of one of the prints I had made today from the 12 photos I shot.

Tuesday, April 22nd
.1:17pm.. MOJO Magazine/Black Mountain
On March 5th I had a photoshoot with Black Mountain for MOJO Magazine. I spent a few hours with the band after the shoot doing some behind the scenes photos of their soundcheck and them backstage and had a lot of fun. I just got a copy of the magazine in the mail the other day so I photographed it today to post on here. Check it out. I believe the issue comes out this thursday in Canada.
Tonight is the CD release show for the new Cancer Bats album at The Mod Club so everyone should be heading out to that. Its going to be insane times.

Sunday, April 13th
.11:46pm.. Architects
Back in March I posted some photos of Johnny Truant from their show at The Reverb. I wanted to post some now of this amazing band called Architects who are also from the UK. These shots are from the second show both bands played later that night at The Bovine Sex Club. It was one of the dirtiest shows I had seen in a long time which was a really nice change from the usual shows I had been going to a lot at the time and it made it so much more fun.

Thursday, April 10th
.3:21pm.. CK MAN
This is something funny a friend of mine sent me the other day. Last November I photographed a launch party for the latest CK fragrance called CK MAN and Fashion Television was there doing a piece on the face of CK MAN, Garett Neff. If you click on the link HERE and watch the video, at about 03:52 into it, you will see me taking a photo of Garett. Its really not some big deal and you can barely tell its me, I just thought it was kinda funny so check it out.

.9:36pm.. Rockstar Hotel
This is going to be a fairly large update as far as photos go. Last night I photographed a pre-party for the Juno Awards here in Calgary Alberta and had such a good time. I met a lot of really cool people and got some photos I am really happy with. Here is a collection of various photos I took during the party.

Saturday, April 5th

Vanessa and I are sitting in our hotel room right now after walking around downtown Calgary for a few hours. We went to some sweet country western clothing stores which was kinda fun.
Tonight is the big Rockstar Hotel party here at the Hotel Arts which should be really fun. We have run into quite a few friends here in Calgary since we got here which is always nice.
Last night I was shooting a party at the Hifi club with a special performance by Chroimeo which ended up being a pretty fun time. Here is a photo from that.

Friday, April 4th
.11:26am.. Calgary, Alberta
I have just arrived in Calgary Alberta to shoot the Rockstar Hotel party tomorrow night here at the Hotel Arts. Rockstar Hotel is a pre party for the Juno Awards which are being held on Sunday.
I ran into the guys from The Saint Alvia Cartel on my flight to Calgary this morning and they said they are playing a show later tonight at Broken City and that is going to be a part of JunoFest 2008. The Saint Alvia Cartel have been nominated for a Juno for best rock album of the year which is pretty exciting for them. Keep checking back for some more updates.
