.3:12pm.. Moneen. On July 31st I shot Attack In Black's CD release show at The Horseshoe Tavern here in Toronto which included an amazing lineup of opening bands including City & Colour, Walter, and of course Moneen. I got all the guys together for a really fast snapshot right before they got on stage which I was pretty stoked about. Ive been a huge fan of Moneen for a number of years and I always enjoy seeing them. This show was particuarly exciting because although I seem to run into them quite a bit at different shows, I havent been able to catch them play for a long time now, so it was really great to finally get to see them play again.

.7:45pm.. This Is Hell/Farewell To Freeway.
Recently I was asked to do a fairly last minute photoshoot with This Is Hell for Trustkill Records. I love This Is Hell so I was stoked to be able to do some more promo photos for them. Oddly, the same night I was asked to do the This Is Hell photos, I was also asked by my good friends in Farewell To Freeway who just got signed to Victory Records and needed some new photos for Victory to use for any press the band will be doing once their new album comes out. Once again, I was stoked to do photos of another band I love. Both of those bands happened to be playing the same show that night so it worked out really well. Although the timing was a little off and we wound up having about 15 minutes for each band and as I packed up my lighting after each shoot the band had to run upstairs to get on stage.
Below is the product of two 15 minute photoshoots with those bands.

.1:47pm.. Warped Tour 07.
I'm still recovering from the intense day yesterday shooting Warped Tour in Barrie Ontario. I got there a little late so unfortunately I missed The Rocket Summer, Paramore, and Throwdown who I really wanted to see, but the rest of the bands I did get to check out more than made up for it.
Probably my favorite part of the whole day would have to be during Circa Survive's set when Anthony Green told the crowd he heard Canadians like to throw things and that if this was true he wanted everyone to look down and pick up the first thing they could see and throw it at him which then created a crazy shower of random objects flying towards the stage. They just kept on playing through all of it even after Anthony got nailed in the balls with a bottle of water. Throughout the whole ordeal I got hit in the head with 2 shoes, 1 bottle of water, and even a digital camera. So much fun!
Of course I was so stoked to get to see As I Lay Dying, The Almost, Coheed & Cambria, and Circa Cirvive more than anything, but all the bands were amazing.

.7:45pm.. Attack In Black. Attack In Black had their cd release show on August 31st at the Horseshoe with some very awsome opening acts such as City & Colour, Moneen, and Walter Schreifels. I had fun shooting the show even though it was insanely hot and sweaty in there. (www.myspace.com/attackinblack)

.2:03pm.. Necro. Here is a few photographs I took of New York death rapper, Necro which he will be using as general press photos for his upcoming album "Death Rap" which will be released on September 11th. Necro was a really awsome dude with a lot of really funny stories about spitting in kids faces and punching people out. (www.myspace.com/necro)
